BSCS is a comprehensive 4-year degree program (comprising of minimum 130 Credit Hours). Since its inception has been revolutionizing the world through its application in various sectors. Due to its phenomenal growth, a number of allied fields such as AI, Robotics and Data Analytics have emerged recently. However, the importance of computer science has intensified over the period of time.
The application of computer science and its allied fields are adopted world-wide. For example, in healthcare industry we are witnessing a large number of surgeries being carried out remotely where a surgeon sits thousands of miles apart from the patient and carries out a successful operation through robotics. Similarly, drones have been employed for surveillance and military operations. Therefore, it can be concluded that its application in various fields is boundless.
Besides computer science, students acquire skills in mathematics and logic. This involves learning how to solve problems, analyze data, model systems, and prove theorems using mathematical tools and methods. Moreover, it covers various aspects of computer science, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. These disciplines enable students to learn the principles and techniques that are involved in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems and applications for various domains, such as web, mobile, gaming, robotics, and machine learning.
At LIPS we ensure that students are trained in a way that they are capable of working on and delivering real-time projects within a software house or through free-lancing.
Training in multiple programming languages and development tools.
