Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) during COVID-19 Pandemic

CAMPUS MANAGEMENT:

In order to reduce crowd in Lahore Institute of Professional Studies and reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection, the following measures are taken before allowing students back on campus:

• Health and safety protocols are displayed on all entry points and entry gates of teaching blocks.
• Wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing are made compulsory for academic and non-academic staff, students and guests in the Institute premises.
• Additional facilities are in place for everyone to maintain good hygiene such as through regular hand washing with soap and water.
• Our Principal ensures the implementation and observance of COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
• Emergency contact No. has been be displayed at all gates.
• Symptomatic person (irrespective of academic & non-academic staff or students) is advised to stay at home.
• Temperature check is ensured at the Institute’s main entry point.
• Institute’s cleaning regimes are significantly enhanced, with regular cleaning of contact points such as door handles, banisters and bathrooms etc.
• No indoor sport and recreation is permitted in the university premises.
• It is advised to avoid handshaking.
• Canteen / Mosque strictly follow the standard SOPs.

Online Teaching:

• Student affairs In-charge ensures timely class orientation sessions.
• No co-curricular and extra- curricular activities/any kind of gathering is allowed during the pandemic in the premises of the Institute.
• Students can submit their complaints to their respective In-charge.
